Sheep, sleep, repeat.

We share our farm with ten Gammelnorsk spælsau, one of Norway’s oldest sheep breeds and a living link to our cultural heritage. Hardy and adaptable, they have roamed these landscapes for over a thousand years, their double-layered fleece once keeping Vikings warm and still producing beautiful, versatile wool today. Beyond their history, they are curious, playful, and wonderfully cuddly companions who bring joy to our daily lives. As natural grazers, they also help us care for the land, supporting biodiversity and embodying our vision of farming in balance with nature.

While the sheep take up a lot of our energy and attention, we have quite a few other animals at the farm, including 3 cats, a very varying number of chickens of various breeds (Dwarf kochin, White italian, Brahma, Icelandic, Ayam Semani, Silkie) and about 10 ducks (Muscowy and Cayuga and hybrids between the two). Meet them all below!
